Mead Money Madness Exp Feb 10/2010– Form Progress Report

Just discovered this points program from Mead (the manufacturer of great back to school stuff) After subscribing to the site with no problem, I ran into a glitch in their rewards form. I sent out the following message, so hopefully this will be fixed before it's time to start back to school shopping;

"I tried to sign up for Mead Rewards on this page http//www.meadonline.com/Profile/New_User.aspxe
but couldn't because only states were available as choices although the field is designated State/Province. Please fix this so I can tell all my colleagues and students about this great program!"

Update:

After sending Mead a screen shot of the problem, I received an email from Susan in customer service offering to register me for the program. I decided to try it once more time on my own.

I cleared my Foxfire history, went to the website and followed the links. Everything went well till I pushed "Next" and got a message that my screen name (Infonut) was in use. I logged in using my screen name and the welcome message said I have 50 site points.

I then tried to register my daughter for the program. The same problem happened for her registration. I registered her on the site, then followed the links to register her for the program. The problem seems to occur when you click "Get Started" on this page http://www.meadonline.com/Rewards/Rewards.aspx

The next page is prefilled with the applicant's information and you cannot get "Select state" to switch to "Select province".

Has anyone else made any progress with this? Which browser did you use to register?

1. Look for the Mead Money Madness tag on the Mead^® products you buy to find out how many Mead Money Madness points you can earn. Enter the UPC online and they’ll add the points to your account. Save your receipts – you’ll need them to claim your rewards.
2. You’ll also score points for doing certain things on this Web site. So when you play a game, take a poll, create a quiz, view a demo or download a template, look for the Mead Money Madness points value. You can use these points to get rewards, too. Everywhere you see these icons is a chance to score Mead Money Madness points. Be sure you log in first.

You can earn 5,910 points from June through February (800 points per full calendar month, prorated for partial months) by participating in certain activities on this Web site. These points can be exchanged for reward items and they do not require receipts for redemption. Receipts are only required for the points you add to your UPC bank, from the purchase of Mead products.
