Types of Points

Points are used by companies to encourage customer loyalty. Consumers accumulate points and trade them in for cash and prizes. Kids points programs are specified, otherwise the following programs are for adults only.

Offline Points Programs

There are overall programs to which several businesses belong-such as Air Miles, Aeroplan Miles, and Just 4 Kids. On the other hand, other programs are for specific products or companies.

Getting Points
Some points programs require physically saving points on items, but most make the use of a loyalty card.While there are some loyalty programs that don't require a credit card, others give bonus points for the use of a credit card, and still others are totally based on credit card use.
